So much to do before I leave for the convention tomorrow. convoy and myself will be there Tuesday, picking up Steve Bennett early Wednesday morning from the airport and driving him around for the day and then Thursday is when everyone else officially arrives, like Gus and Geoff from Red Vs. Blue - which means I have to appear at the airport once again since they're my friends, but it'll be good (especially at Hogs & Honeys later that night with ferchrissakes with me). Friday and Saturday mean I'll be all over the place, especially hosting things... so anyone who's planning on coming to the convention for a day or two ought to show up on one of those two days for some of my events, at least (though this year I'm doing Draw or Die! as a contestant so I might actually have something to do on Sunday as well, provided I make it that far). Monday we take the guests around town before they all depart on their respective planes and after that...

...well, after that, I start working on next year's convention.

Phew. This is going to be a hectic (yet extremely fun) week.

And this last weekend was good. Friday night was going out for some drinks with Ben and hanging out with Eric and Christina as well... which turned into Saturday's meeting, Sheraton hotel tour and walking around Woodfield with convoy and Randall and dinner at Stir Crazy, as usual. Oh, we got Sam her nurse's uniform while we were there, too... which turned into Saturday night's graffiti party at Leah and Mikel's (so... many... toys - with exceptional tagging to boot) with a party of James, Randall, Ben and myself.. which turned into Sunday's breakfast excursion with Christina, Ben and their friend (David? I am terrible with names.) and the middle Eastern bakery... which was ultimately a rather slow day involving a Reactor site update and some design with Christina.

A relaxing weekend, for sure. I hope for more like it. Very... comfortable.

I guess my luck isn't as bad as I thought. The situation was immedeately taken care of by the generosity of astralana, who has offered to take the place of my sickness-stricken staff member [ and best friend ] all the way from Kansas City, provided everything works out alright.

Personal opinion here, but I thought Resident Evil : Apocalypse was excellent, especially for a video game based movie.

Went out and saw it with a group of 10 people of which I knew about half of from various video game retail stores in the region.

Verdict : Needed more blood - BUT it's entirely better than the first one, and...( SPOILERS )
